Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the UnGated Pet website and the Insider Adoption Framework and related digital products (together, the "Service"). By accessing or purchasing the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service Is

The Service is an educational product. It explains how shelters and rescues screen adoption applicants, based on documented patterns and published screening criteria. The Service does not submit applications on your behalf, does not contact shelters or rescues for you, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any shelter, rescue, or animal welfare organization.

2. No Guarantee of Adoption

We make no promise or guarantee that you will be approved to adopt any animal. Adoption decisions are made solely by shelters and rescues based on their own criteria. Results vary and are not guaranteed.

3. Honest Use Only

The Service teaches you how to present truthful information in the language that adoption screening systems respond to. You agree to use the Service lawfully and to provide only truthful, accurate information on any real adoption application. You may not use the Service to falsify, misrepresent, or deceive any shelter, rescue, or third party.

4. License; Personal Use

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for your own household's adoption journey. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, share, or commercially exploit any part of the Service.

5. Payments

Payments are processed securely by our payment provider. The current price of the core product is $27.00 USD, plus any optional add-ons you select at checkout. All fees are stated in US dollars.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the Service — including text, frameworks, scripts, graphics, and the Insider Adoption Framework methodology — is owned by UnGated Pet and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

8. Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnGated Pet disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnGated Pet and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us.

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
